Academic Decathlon
So today was the very first meeting for the Decathlon, and it was pretty fun.
Meeting everyone who was joining, and listening to what we have to do, and how we go to USC to compete against other schools. This year's theme is the French Revolution, and the topic my group has is Music.
After getting all our paperwork, WHICH FILLED UP AN ENTIRE 2 INCH FOLDER, we studied for about 30min-1hr and then we left. We were supposed to go to DeeDee's after but she wasn't home, so I said we should hang out at my house, since I'm only 5-10 minutes away from her house anyway. So we went to my house, and hung out, and talked about stuff, and I told Sam about this guy who added me on myspace, and I didn't know who he was, and we started talking. And she got freaked out, saying he might be a creeper trying to rape me. LOL. But I told her that through the comments, he actually sounds like a kid rather than a creeper, and so she checked them out, and she said the same thing too. xD ILY SAM ! for being so caring. :D
So we then went to Dee's house, and Brittany, Beverly, Nick, Vanida, Aaron, and Melissa were already there. We hung out and DeeDee asked me if I could fit this dress her aunt gave here, and it did fit, so she let me have it. ROFL. Soon people went swimming, but a lot of us didn't cause it wasn't swimming weather. Around 3:30ish, me, Diane, and Cathiee left. Then I walked back home, when they got picked up in front of the gate. && now here I am.
