SPECIAL Week !
Well this Sunday was the Special Olympics and I decided to volunteer since last year's was sooooo much fun.
Anyways, woke up at 5 am, and got ready by 5:30am. Sat here and waited for Cathiee to call cause she said get ready by 5:45am. && She over slept >_> Got there around 6:20ish, and went straight to work. We had to go to the front of the park and hang up the banner, and then hang up another banner by the stage. Soon we got assigned our jobs, I was assigned cheerleader. I mean, seriously, cheerleader ? =_______=" I didn't do my job and just went over to the booths and helped my friends manage them. Made friends with Cerritos next to us, and then they started disliking us cause they thought we stole their canopy. >_>
Later Norwalk came, and we played an ice breaker with them. At first we played I Love My Neighbor, and it was Susie's turn, and she didn't know how to play, so she said "My name is Susie and I like to organize donuts." LOL, and everyone started laughing. After, we played Birdie on a Porch ? And I made two new friends. After that, we hung out at Norwalk's booth since everyone was practically done cause it was around 3pm. We stayed an extra hour to help put everything away. And then took a group peeecture (:
We later gave away our facebooks and AIMs to stay connected.
And this week has been good cause we had 2 early days ! 12:38pm ! Whoooo ~ But I had to stay an extra hour because of driver's ed, but its okaaay. Yesterday I went to Sam's house to watch a movie with everyone, and played with her dog. && Today I was with Ricky, Corey, and Anthony, and we walked to a sushi place because my mom couldn't pick me up on time. Now the rest of the week better be as good as it started. >:[
