Melissa&&Aaron's Bonfire.
Today was pretty tiring. It was Melissa and Aaron's bonfire today, and they told me it was at Bolsa Chica Beach. Well, at 11am I met up with David so he could tutor me in Algebra 2, and at 12pm, we went to go pick up Brittany and Beverly. After that, we went to Food4Less to buy 2 packs of wood, soda, and hot dogs for the bon fire. Later, we drove down PCH to go to the beach, and I get a call telling me its at Huntington Beach instead of Bolsa Chica, because there weren't any bonfire pits. Finding a parking spot was a dick, and we were driving through traffic for about an hour. When we hit Brookhurst St. we decided to go to Westminster to eat Pho because traffic was too long, and we wanted to wait till it cool off.
When we were in Westminster, we went to Asian Garden Mall to eat at the Pho place, but none of us ended up getting Pho. After eating, we went to the arcade and started playing games. There was this little girl who was REALLY good at DDR when we came in. After that, we went back to the car, and it was 3:30ish so we decided to go back to the beach and try and find a place to park. Like we thought, traffic cooled off a bit. Melissa didn't have many people with her. It was just her, Aaron, Colina, Vanida, Julie #1 and her boyfriend. Sean was at another part of the beach and we just went to his side because we couldn't find a parking spot on Melissa's side.
After finally getting to the beach, there was no bonfire pit at all. We ended up swimming for a while, and slowly everyone left. Colina and Vanida came to our side, but Aaron and Melissa didn't want to come over, so they stayed over at there side. We played a bit of volleyball, and just hung around and talk. Earlier when we were swimming, I kind of swam out a little too far, and got stuck with water up to my chin. I tried to swim back, but I wasn't moving anywhere, I kept telling myself to stay calm because I learned a while ago, that most drownings are cause by panic. So I tried to stay calm, and waited for waves to come and help push me back to shore. Luckily, many waves helped me, and I was really tired when I got back. Me and beverly went back in the water around 8pm, and it wasn't even cold either. It was actually pretty warm.
Well I'm really tired out right now, and I didn't get to take any pictures from today. So I can't post anything up. ):
